I never spoke to her,
never truly met her,
yet I felt as though I had known her
my whole life.
Her eyes,
her eyes exposed her;
they spoke greater than words ever could.
When those eyes met mine
my heart skipped a beat,
skipped two.
Those eyes forced the air from my lungs
and for a moment I could not breathe,
I forgot how to.
Because in that moment
nothing was as important;
breathing wasn't as important,
as she was.
