The Sparrow's Nest and the Human Quest
Lessons from a Tiny Bird and Its Nest
There once was a sparrow's nest so grand,
On a tree, it chose to take a stand.
As the houses rose around,
All the trees hit the ground,
But the sparrow's nest remained unplanned.
-------
It seemed like the builders didn't care,
As long as the houses were there.
But the sparrow's nest,
Stood out from the rest,
And showed us nature can be quite rare.
-------
For in a world of concrete and steel,
The sparrow's nest was a big deal.
A testament to life,
That overcomes human strife,
And the little things that time can't steal.
-------
Now the sparrow's nest sits up high,
As a symbol that can't be denied,
That in this world of progress,
Sometimes we should regress,
And let nature take us for a ride.
-------
For in the grand scheme of things,
The sparrow's nest is where hope springs,
From the smallest of creatures,
We can learn life's grand features,
And appreciate the joy that it brings.
-------
So let's learn from this little bird,
And value the things that seem absurd.
For the sparrow's nest so grand,
Shows us that we should take a stand,
And protect what we all hold dear in this world.
