the source of creation is feeling
we are compelled to translate our inner chaos
into art to be shared
recognizing our own soul
in another's story
can create peace in the eye of the storm
pain demands to be felt
and we don't want to do it alone
so every emotion becomes a color on the canvas
a lyric in a song
or a moral in the story
when we can see the pain that went into art
then we recognize we are all the same
this is all one story being told
and we keep telling a tragic tale
instead of choosing the happy ending
we keep hurting each other
to inspire more creation
