On March 3, 2023, winter hit Toronto with around 30cm of snow. It also treated us to a rare thundersnow event where thunder and lightning was heard and seen during the night.
Since several writers are starting to post limericks, I decided to write one to mark the event. Hope you enjoy 😊.
❄️❄️❄️
There’s always a snowstorm in March
But we forgot to tell Mr. Parch
So when we said it was Spring
He cried at the cold and the sting
"Goddammit, you said it was March!"
❄️❄️❄️
Seriously Winter, pack it in 🙄.

Wow, the was really good ♥️
Bravo! Sorry the weather is rubbish at the moment, but this was a genius limerick! :)
Hahaha!! Poor Mr. Parch! I really want to witness thundersnow… That’s so cool!
Haha :) Fun one. I hope the weather lets up and spring arrives soon!
This was so clever and fun!! Glad you jumped on the limerick train, toot toot!! hahaha!! Sorry for the late winter storm though.
Hahaha. I love this!!
So sorry about the snow 🥺 Loved your limerick and the sass!
Fun and written about my favorite month - March! Awesome job! 🥰
Ha! Love it. I also got hit with the same storm in Northern Michigan. Knocked out the internet for 8 hours and a few tree branches were across our cars in the driveway when I woke up and went outside. Hope winter is done now. I love snow but that was too much.
Lol. Love it... well not the 30 cm though. Well done.
We got hit with tons of snow here in Minneapolis too, like more than usual. I’m a strange person who loves snow and winter! Not looking forward to spring, or what I call allergy season. I enjoyed this limerick.
