A brilliant blue sky with puffy white clouds,

And rolling hills of clover green grass.

An afternoon of sunshine with possibly a rain shower,

But only to unleash faiths rainbow power.

Bees are buzzing to every flower,

And hummingbirds fight over the feeder.

Rocking lazily on the front porch,

Watching the baby foxes at play.

Enjoying visits from family and sharing time,

Spending moments with laughter.

Realizing what is important in life and what should be held true,

The simple things include a happy heart and a small circle of just a few.

Take a walk, run a mile, or appreciate the view,

And be sure to smell the flowers or maybe plant some new.

Paint vibrant colors or write a story, it is really up to you,

Enjoy the simple things in life, if even only for a few.

Love with passion, live with hope, and pursue what you dream,
