The Silent Watcher

He has seen more than you or I ever have in our lifetime

The Silent Watcher

His eyes have measured endless years.
He speaks where silence gathers deep.
The stars still rest upon his brow.
Their ancient vows he always keeps.

The winds have carved his weathered face.
Yet kindness never left his soul.
He knows that time can soften grief.
And broken hearts become made whole.

No throne was built beneath his feet.
No crown was placed upon his head.
He earned his wisdom grain by grain.
By every path his spirit led.

He watches dawn embrace the earth.
He never asks for praise or fame.
He simply guards forgotten hopes.
Remembering each whispered name.

His quiet strength outlives the storm.
His steady gaze calms restless skies.
He teaches more by standing still.
Than louder voices ever rise.

The moonlight knows the road he walks.
The mountains know his gentle tread.
The rivers carry echoes on.
Of every thoughtful word unsaid.

He sees beyond our fleeting fears.
Beyond the anger and the blame.
He lights a lantern in the dark.
Without expecting any name.

The oldest trees still bow to him.
The raven knows his patient hand.
He walks between the worlds unseen.
Yet keeps one foot upon the land.

If sorrow finds your weary heart,
He will not promise pain will cease.
He simply walks a while with you.
Until your soul remembers peace.

When night has closed its heavy door,
His faithful light still burns above.
A silent watcher through the years.
A soul whose greatest gift is love.❤️
