The Silence of Your Soul
It's always there if you seek it.
Silence is precious
it contains all the answers
Words could only wish they had.
Silence is here and there
With the living
And the dead.
When the spoken word doesn't suffice
silence does.
Its transparent honesty makes anything else a lie
It's as fluid as a river stream and
leaves no room for scheme.
Silence doesn't suit the shallow-minded
it's too heavy a load for them to carry.
Yet, it's lighter than air
holding together the secrets of the world.
All the answers you seek
are already within you
deep inside your calmness.
And all the problems you'd invent
are dissolved into
the magical silence
that purges, clears, and mops
All the demons that you hold.
