Can you feel that?

The heart’s fluttering beat

that swells from within?

The bounce beneath your feet,

to ride a breeze and spin?

.

Do you see it?

Soft lips lift to a smile

on a tickled gaze.

The dancing down the aisle

to their own song ablaze.

.

Can you hear it?

The laugh like an ocean

filling rooms with glee?

Lyrics of emotion

and self, unabused, free?

.

Do you smell that?

On an after-rain stroll

and spring is still young;

Earth’s life kissing the soul

with new air in the lungs.

.

Can you taste it?

A bursting citrus buzz,

a freshly sweet rave?

The drool for more because

it is all one can crave?

.

Do you know it?

It is all around you,

do you heed the call?

Or are you a mind who

cannot leap? Then you fall.
