The Secret of Crystals
They lie before me, glimmering stones,
Each born from the deep and dreaming earth,
Each one shaped by time’s slow hands,
Each one humming beneath the skin.
I hold a piece of quartz to the sun,
Its light breaks open into rainbows,
And in that flash I see the world,
Turned pure by the touch of clarity.
Amethyst sings with quiet grace,
Rose quartz carries the pulse of love,
Citrine glows like early dawn,
And obsidian guards the restless soul.
They are not silent, not to me,
They whisper in warmth and weight,
Their songs rise softly in my mind,
Like water moving under stone.
At night I place them near my bed,
They breathe with me through the dark,
Their calm flows deep into my dreams,
Until I wake with peace in hand.
Each one a keeper of old intent,
A teacher of stillness and light,
They do not shout their wisdom loud,
They shine, and that is enough.
