By the sea with its salty air,

The maiden wept in deep despair.

Her lover, a sailor, departed to the great sea,

Leaving behind a lament of love.

Months turned to years, and the lighthouse stood,

The lighthouse stood.

Her sacrifice waited on the shore,

Each setting sun makes me miss her even more.

Missing brings more missing.

Even as the sun rises, the longing only grows.

One day, it turns into hatred.

In an old story, their love shines,

A beacon of hope, true forever.

Love can weather the fiercest tides,

Forever, a sailor's bride.
