The Sad Planet

In the vast cosmic sea, where stars do gleam,

There lies a world, a planet in a dream,

A somber sphere of melancholy grace,

A place of sorrow in the endless space.

They call it The Sad Planet, far from home,

A realm where sorrow and despair do roam,

Its skies are draped in shades of muted gray,

Its oceans weep, its mountains in dismay.

Upon this planet, desolation reigns,

As teardrops fall like soft and silent rains,

Its forests whisper secrets to the wind,

Of tales untold, of hearts that never mend.

A pallid moon, a melancholic queen,

Casts shadows deep on landscapes rarely seen,

Its cratered face, a mirror to the pain,

That haunts this world, where hopes and dreams are slain.

The Sad Planet's inhabitants, they weep,

Their sorrow's buried in the secrets they keep,

They wear their grief like heavy, tattered cloaks,

Their mournful songs, like ancient, whispered spokes.

In cities shrouded in a misty veil,

They speak in hushed tones, their faces pale,

In dim-lit rooms, where candles flicker low,

They ponder why their tears continue to flow.

But in the heart of sadness, there's a light,

A fragile hope that glimmers in the night,

For even on The Sad Planet, they find,

In unity, some solace for the mind.

The beauty in the pain, they've come to know,

A bittersweet, yet wondrous, inner glow,

For sadness, too, can shape the human soul,

And from its depths, great strength and wisdom roll.

So, as we gaze upon this distant sphere,

Let's not forget the lessons held so dear,

That even in the depths of sorrow's night,

There's beauty, strength, and hope, in soft moonlight.

The Sad Planet, a place of bittersweet,

Where hearts are heavy, yet in darkness, meet,

A realm where tears and stars forever play,

In cosmic ballet, through the Milky Way.
