The Rose

Like the rose that blossoms in early May,

Our love grows more and more everyday.

It opens up, to get the sun’s ray;

Just like your heart does to get my love.

Just like the rose,

Soothing in smell;

You are too,

Flowery as well.

Just like the rose attracting a bee;

You are too,

Beautiful to me.

Seeping into the roots goes the drops of rain;

Like the tears of joy running through my vein.

As the sun brings the rose light,

You bring me warmth.

Then the rose closes when all is done;

My heart does too,

To keep in the love that I have won.
