In the gardens of the mind

There blooms a rose, oh so divine

Its petals soft, its fragrance bright.

It represents the beauty within

The love and hope that dare not dim

The strength to face the darkest night

And still hold on to the light.

Its roots are deep, its stem is strong

A symbol of the will to carry on

In the winds of change, it stands so tall

Defying all the odds against it all.

So when the world is rough and tough

And life is just too much

Remember this rose that I have spun

And know that beauty can be won.
