The Road Less Traveled

I stood at the fork in the road,

And I didn't know which way to go.

Both roads looked so inviting,

And I didn't want to let either one go.

I took a deep breath,

And closed my eyes.

I listened to my heart,

And I followed the path that it chose.

The road was not easy,

And there were times when I wanted to turn back.

But I kept going,

Because I knew that I was on the right path.

Finally, I reached the end of the road,

And I looked back.

I saw that I had made the right choice,

And I was glad that I had followed my heart.

I had taken the road less traveled,

And that had made all the difference.

I had learned that it is okay to be different,

And that it is okay to follow my own path.

I had learned that I am strong,

And that I can overcome anything.

I had learned that I am worthy,

And that I deserve to be happy.

I had learned that I am not alone,

And that there are others who are on the same journey.

I had learned that life is a journey,

And that it is up to me to make the most of it.

I had learned that I am in control of my own destiny,

And that I can create the life that I want.

I had learned that I am enough,

Just the way I am.
