Beside the meadow, where flowers bloom,

Flows a river, dispelling gloom.

Its waters shimmer, reflecting light,

Carving paths, both day and night.

Fish dart by, in a playful spree,

Chasing shadows, wild and free.

Dragonflies hover, wings a-gleam,

Dancing above, like in a dream.

Children laugh, skipping stones,

Creating ripples, in watery zones.

Old folks sit, by the river's bend,

Sharing tales, that never end.

The river whispers, tales untold,

Of adventures, brave and bold.

From mountains high, it journeyed long,

Singing the earth's eternal song.

Through valleys deep, and forests green,

It flows relentless, yet serene.

A timeless dance, to the sea it's drawn,

The river's journey, forever goes on.
