the reason to stay by your side
my poetry for you

The sun hides in your eyes
on your skin the soft breeze of the sea,
in your smile the sweet taste
of the honey that I long to taste.
Your hair is a waterfall
of shiny black silk,
and your body is a golden flower
that captivates me instantly.
In your look there is a mystery,
a light that guides me to love,
and in your heart a cemetery
of broken dreams and pain
But I'll be by your side
even though the night is dark
to heal what has been damaged
and make your tenderness reborn.
Because you are my poetry
my muse, my reason for being,
And even if the world falls apart
you always want to be.
