The Quiet Dove

Once a quiet dove,

Unknown, unnoticed,

Living in the world

Without actually living to all.

Now a staring eagle,

Living the world to its fullest.

Laughter is forever,

And gloom is hardly ever.

But once a quiet dove,

And would have remained in quiet love,

But for the snipers,

Whom could naught but the quiet dove snipe.

When the quiet dove lies,

And the hidden eagle awakens,

The same snipers

Could help not but snipe.

The quiet dove,

With will still return,

But the task is hard as can be,

So, it seems, the quiet dove we never may see.

The times passed,

When the quiet dove could relapse,

For no matter how wished,

May never be revived.
