The Queen
A Poem

The Queen is useless
Nothing she uses
Is what she produces
Sure, sure
When the V-2 flew
She drove for the caduceus
But let’s face it
She never loses
Nothing ventured
Nothing gained
Public love for her
And those like her
Is insanely inane
In power because of an accident of history
They only know how to make misery
For the masses
Republican. Democrat. Communist. Fascist.
They are all the same in desire
To set fire
To the lives of the masses
For their gain
Love for “the people” always feigned
Someone has to be blamed
But not those that reign
Not their private money overlords
Turn the hoards in on themselves
Living exhausting lives of lies
Knives out
For a bit of political clout
End of life
Realize it was all for nothing
Wasting away in the factory trenches
Fences erected for Fordlandia
I do have to hand it to ya
It’s a magnificent system for the lazy
The liars
Those that connive and conspire
Lives filled with propaganda from cradle to grave
When and who will we save?

Once more, louder, for the people in the back.
Powerful and true
