The Queen of Impossible Things
She was the one to go to for magical advice

The Queen of Impossible Things
Beyond the hills no maps could hold
There stood a kingdom dark and old
Its towers reached through cloud and rain
Its gates appeared then hid again
The people spoke in quiet tones
Of silver halls and ancient thrones
And one who ruled with steady grace
No crown of gold upon her face
They called her queen of things unseen
Of all that could have somehow been
Of hopes dismissed and dreams denied
And all the parts people still hide
Travellers came through storm and night
To ask her how to make things right
Some wanted fortune, fame or peace
Some wished old memories would cease
She listened long and answered less
No grand display, no cleverness
Her words were small and plain to hear
Yet somehow stayed from year to year
A man once asked if fear would fade
She said it follows light and shade
So build your days and let it walk
Do not give fear the final talk
One woman asked if love returns
The queen replied that life still turns
Not every ending means complete
Some things arrive in different ways
When finally my turn appeared
I asked the thing I quietly feared
How do I become enough
When every day already feels tough
She stood and led me through a hall
With empty mirrors on each wall
No faces there, no future shown
Only reflections still unknown
She stopped and said with gentle eyes
Impossible wears good disguise
Most things you think are not for you
Are waiting for you to walk through
Then placed no treasure in my hand
No secret words, no hidden plan
Only this sentence calm and clear
Begin before you feel prepared
