Politicians in suits and ties,

Promises and speeches that mesmerize.

Campaigns filled with propaganda and lies,

A game of power where everyone vies.

They shake hands and smile for the crowds,

Kissing babies and speaking out loud.

Promising change and hope that astounds,

But once in power, their true nature is found.

The pockets of the rich they fill,

Ignoring the poor and needy until,

Election time comes around and still,

They offer empty words that ring shrill.

Bickering and fighting for their own gain,

Ignoring the people's cries and pain.

They play with lives as if it's a game,

In their world, there's only personal fame.

Politicians, oh how we have lost trust,

For your words are empty and unjust.

We need leaders who are just and robust,

Not those who treat the country like dust.
