The Poe of Dreams

Wanting Dreams to Become Realities

By LP SteinbeckPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Dreams of you, gentle Poe,

Oh, let reality be so sweet!

Lights on, breath on my neck,

I inhale the scent of your warm skin,

First touch hot and tender,

Each one returned to me flesh for flesh,

Every fruit here is yours,

Love comes home in our garden of dreams,

Plant seeds of tomorrows,

Let our dreams become realities,

Come in my parlor, love,

Meet my thrusts in such growing pleasures,

Please rest your soul in me,

Our bodies seek exquisite release,

Given, yet never owned,

Shaking from more than genitive need,

Let me not wake alone,

Let the sun rise with me in your arms,

Your words whisper in me,

Tender lips of Poe caress my own,

Now awake I feel you,

Delicate places tremble for you,

Places only for you,

No other man can tend this longing,

Yes, I need your strength,

Tend the fire in me that won't go out!
