Melodies of Forever

Yellowed ivory, worn smooth by tender touch,

Each key a memory, whispered words so much.

Love songs lingered, soft and bittersweet,

Of promises and dreams, at your gentle feet.

Duets danced, a melody for two,

Fingers entwined, a love both pure and true.

The echoes rise, a sigh upon the air,

A silent serenade, a love beyond compare.

Though silent now, the strings still hold the sound,

Of whispered "I love you's," hearts forever bound.

Each note a brushstroke, painting on the soul,

A love story played, on this instrument whole.

So let it stand, a monument of grace,

A silent witness to love's enduring embrace.

A timeless friend, where hearts forever meet,

In melodies of love, oh so soft and sweet.

Your poem is breathtaking. It's passionate, emotional, and I could hear a piano playing cords as I read it. I love your chosen style of writing for this poem.
