as I go on,
I wonder why,
then I realize,
it’s you;
the perfect reason!!
as my wants I declare,
I know from where,
it’s you;

as I see tomorrow,
and all the days ahead,
I see you instead,
the perfect reason!!
as I ponder of my needs,
it’s obvious,
I need you,
the perfect reason!!
chance comes,
we take it!
why?
because chance is you;
the perfect reason!!
I feel the feeling,
every day,
the beauty in you,
on display,
the perfect reason!!
so I ask,
whatever the season,
make my life perfect,
yes!!
with you!!

This is not who I thought I would be. Before my family was captured and forced into slavery, I had aspirations of becoming a wealthy business owner or possibly a scholar and philosopher. Becoming a warrior was the furthest thing from my mind. Unfortunately, our Roman conquerors had other plans.
