The arid beauty of summer wilts into fall

As Persephone returns to Hades's arms

Deep below the Earth in the Underworld

The plants mourn her loss, now out of reach

But as the leaves and stems crumble

Love blossoms in the darkness

Union of Life and Death

Fiery passion roars

Sparking rebirth

Igniting

Spring’s new

Growth
