I will set some goals that I can achieve

Then follow my heart and truly believe.

I will value the moments and each day.

With God's help I know there is always a way.

When I was young, time seemed to move so slow.

I tried to learn from every high and low.

There are friends that help me along the way,

Memories that are in my heart to stay.

There's things I crochet, so hard I try.

I get some aches and pains, have to cry.

Patience and proper rest are keys I know.

Receiving strength from friends helps me grow.

Poetry contest was won early in May.

"Congratulations," many friends did say.

Let me win this contest, my heartfelt plea.

Family and some friends believed in me.
