The Pages Of Time
A Mystically Temporal Villanelle
This is just an idea inspired by interests that I have in common with my Muse, and presented as a villanelle.
As I was writing this it became clear that the most common religions today have no Goddesses, which says a lot I think.
If they have no place for a Goddess they have no place in my poem.
I chose The Streets song for the title though has a few minore connections to my poem, but it is very insistent, and I like it.

This was such a wonderful Villanelle! So beautifully written Mike!
I really enjoyed how you incorporated deities from different mythologies here, and the poem has such a nice flow to it. This is well done!
