It was not loud, nor wild with careless hunger,

It came like a secret, slow and certain,

Your breath close enough to change the air I lived in,

Your eyes holding mine as if time feared us.

I felt it before it happened, deep in the pulse,

A trembling quiet beneath my ribs,

As though the world stepped back to watch,

As though even shadows leaned in closer.

Your hand found mine, not asking, just knowing,

Fingers closing like a promise already made,

And in that space between almost and forever,

I forgot every name but yours.

Then your lips met mine, soft, deliberate,

Not rushed, not stolen, but chosen,

Heat rising slow, like fire learning to breathe,

A sweetness edged with something dangerous.

I tasted the night on you, the ache, the wanting,

A longing that did not beg, but burned,

And my body answered without permission,

Every nerve awake, every thought undone.

It was more than touch, more than skin,

It was surrender without losing ground,

A kiss that did not end when we parted,

But stayed, deep, written under the soul.

Even now, I carry it like a hidden flame,

That one perfect moment, fierce and alive,

A kiss that did not fade into memory,
