The one constant

Time can't touch this

By ΤρυφαῖναPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

I don’t really know how to explain this feeling.

It’s not loud or dramatic —

it doesn’t come with warning signs or fireworks.

It’s just... there.

Every single time I see you.

Like a quiet knock in my chest,

a little jolt that says,

“Yep, it’s still you.”

Time moves on —

days turn into years,

people change,

but this feeling?

It stays the same.

If anything, it’s gotten stronger,

heavier in the best kind of way.

You walk into a room

and suddenly I remember everything I thought I’d forgotten.

What I want.

Who I am.

Where I belong.

You do that to me —

bring me back to myself.

Because you're not just someone I love.

You’re home.

You’re peace.

You’re that deep sigh I didn’t know I was holding.

That calm after the chaos.

With you, things make sense —

not always in words,

but in how the world feels less heavy when you’re around.

Like maybe I don’t have to fight so hard.

Like maybe I can just... be.
