In our day to day lives we are being driven around
Hijacked by some unknown entity
We are programmed
Unable to navigate our own paths
We seek solace in the stillness
The stillness is the moment after climbing to the top of a mountain or hill
Where all the world surrounds us
It is the Now
And we never stop to look at it
The peace of a quiet morning
Where the dew still clings to the leaves of the flowers
And the blades of grass
And all the world still sleeps
We can create that same stillness within ourselves
The stillness lives in the space between breaths
We can create a pause in the midst of the chaos
That pause is us as we truly are
