The Next Generation of Cellphones
Are You Ready?
The cellphone is quite the invention,
That's captured the whole world's attention.
It's seldom we've spied,
People walking outside,
Without focusing on screens with intention.
********************************
I foresee that the next innovation,
Will be under-the-skin implantation.
By touching your ear,
You'll be able to hear,
All the messages it's held in suspension.
It's not that far from reality if it follows suit with what's been done with implanted credit card microchips.
"A microchip was first implanted into a human back in 1998... can be used wherever contactless payments are accepted... weighs less than a gram and is a bit bigger than a grain of rice... a tiny microchip with an antenna." (BBC News 11 April 2022)
