The Moon's Embrace

The Moon's Embrace of the Human Heart

By Faris Published about a year ago 1 min read

Oh, silver orb that hangs in the night

Thou art a beacon of ethereal light

Guiding us through the dark, endless sky

Thy glow doth make the shadows fly

Thou art a constant, faithful friend

Thy phases mark the days that blend

Into the endless march of time

Thy countenance doth always shine

From high above, thou doth look down

Upon the earth, thy royal crown

Thou art the queen of all the night

Thy radiance doth make everything right

So, here's to thee, oh shining moon

Thy beauty doth make the world swoon

Thou art a wonder, a true delight

Forever may thou shine, oh bright and fair lunar light.
