The Moon-Crowned Majesty
A Poem of Beauty and Desire
By Khalil MessaoudiPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

O moon, with a crown upon its head,
Its ivory hue leaves beauty in dread.
When it walks, it sways with allure,
Its hips like dunes, soft yet secure.
As if within its pockets, a moon does hide,
And waves in its garments gently collide.
If wealth keeps you far from me,
Then my poverty longs for thee.
