The Moon and Stars

Sun rays in the dark

Stars dot here in the sky,

I look up to them and see your face so shy,

do you miss us? I don't know,

Do you feel me as much as I felt your chill,

in my arms, my head, my love now, then, the same, but now so still.

So in fear to let go, of you, your hand, your gaze,

eyes as dark as the dark sad sky,

each time the soul goes, it came back gold, ever bold,

just like your tiny red kite,

when it fell, so fast, so hard.

You are now the moon,

You are now the star,

You are gone from here, up too far,

to grab, to hug, too far up to call up.

Sun rays in the dark,

I miss your face, I love your art,

I will pass it on, with a fond mark,

on the way to the new wall, the sign on the page,

new to all.

Off past the door way, your art, it'll go,

to a new life, a new path,

to make more of my time up fill with you.

I love you, I will be true, I mix my life up with all that is you.
