The Moment

Maya Angelou said it best...

Life isn't about the number of breaths we take.

It's about the moments that take our breath away.

Friendships aren't measured in weeks, months or years.

Friendships are measured in the moments that you'll never forget.

It's the single moments where time stands still

And no matter how long since that moment has passed you still return to it never wanting to leave.

Asking what if won't change a thing.

The moment has already passed.

Once the moment is gone,

It exists only as a profound memory of perfection

A moment shattered

By the world outside.

A world that didn't matter

Or even exist in that moment

All my dreams and nightmares

Together in a single moment that I'll never forget.
