The Modern World

Bless the internet,

and all it brings,

The facts it shares,

and the songs it sings.

I never thought I’d see the day,

where the GPS would show me the way.

No more asking for directions,

I don’t need the map as a way of protection.

The phone in the house,

I especially ignore,

Because on the tiny cell phone,

There are contacts galore.

On the TV screen,

I don’t need to flip.

This is because

the internet has surely shown me a trip.

I can play all sorts of games,

of any fashion,

Because the apps on my phone,

are the main attraction.

Facebook tends to

keep me up to date,

at an alarming rate,

and I appreciate,

what everyone has to say,

because at the end of the day,

we all live in a modern world.
