Connected Yet Alone

In our hands, we hold a device,
That promises to bring us closer to life.
A world of knowledge, at our fingertips,
A tool to connect, and never slip.
We share our moments, with friends near and far,
Yet somehow we feel, that we've lost the connection.
In this digital age, we're constantly aware,
Of the world outside, and the people that care.
But as we scroll and tap, through our screens,
We fail to see, the people in our scene.
We've become so lost, in this virtual world,
That the real one, to us, has become blurred.
The mobile phone, it has become our crutch,
A tool to hide, and avoid human touch.
And in this paradox, we're both connected and alone,
Lost in the noise, of the digital unknown.
