Once upon a stick so sweet,
A lollipop began its merry beat.
With colors bold and flavors rare,
It thought life would be beyond compare.
But alas, its fate took a twist,
As it found itself in a clumsy fist.
With a lick and a slurp, oh what a sight,
The lollipop knew its end was in sight.
With each lick, it felt a shock,
As if it were hit by a rock.
It cried out, "Oh, the agony!
Why did fate play this cruel spree?"
But the lollipop was not alone,
For in its stick, it found a groan.
A gumdrop stuck, with woes alike,
They commiserated in their sticky plight.
Together they vowed, come what may,
To bring laughter in their own sweet way.
So they rolled and tumbled, never stopped,
The misadventures of a lollipop that popped!
As the lollipop popped, oh what a scene,
Candy burst forth, colors so keen.
The children's eyes widened in delight,
Their excitement reaching a soaring height.
Pushing and shoving, they clamored near,
For a taste of the candy, oh so dear.
Gummy bears, chocolates, and more,
Spilled out from the lollipop's core.
Amidst the chaos, a lesson was taught,
About sharing and kindness, so easily sought.
For in the midst of the candy rush,
Friendship and joy, they did hush.
With laughter and smiles, they gathered 'round,
In sweetness and joy, harmony they found.
For in the lollipop's unexpected burst,
Lay the magic of childhood, unrehearsed.
So let's cherish the moments, both big and small,
For life's sweet surprises, we treasure them all.
And remember the day, when the lollipop popped,
And brought joy to all, as candy overflowed and stopped.
