The meaning of travel

The meaning of travel

Why travel? Is it to escape or to start again? Before deciding to travel, our hearts are filled with longing for the destination. We give so many definite and uncertain ideas to travel, hoping that it can bring meaning to us. Proust said: the real journey of exploration is not to see new places, but with new eyes. Then we can enjoy the visions in our mind countless times from different angles and light, until the scenery in front of US pulls us away from the deep-rooted impression from the TV media. But after arriving, even if we have more travel plans and give more meaning to travel, it will become far fetched. Like a map, the names of all the streets and roads indicated are clear at a glance. In fact, all the roads are like branches extending, which can not be distinguished. Or when you see the real object, no matter how winding and confusing the journey is, it will clear the clouds and see the sun, simple, direct and innocent. So the meaning of travel is to see the truth? Because we don't understand, we have to continue on the road until we understand.

So I travel through cities, big and small, wide and narrow streets, high and low mountains, and every inch of land I step on has its own temperature. We smiled brightly at the camera. We stayed here in many places we had visited. We bought souvenirs in the travel souvenir shop that may never be remembered again. We didn't have the courage to leave or stop, so we traveled; Because of the mechanical inertia of life, we suddenly feel tired and willing to escape temporarily, so we travel; We drag the body tired by life to leave the familiar city, and then drag the more tired body to return to the original life. We hope to leave our hometown with full heart, and then struggle hard to return home with good clothes. We travel for the distance we can't get, for the hometown we can't go back, for the life we haven't experienced, and for showing off that we've been there. We can't tell the meaning of each journey, but the scenery and people we meet in each journey will smell the fragrance of time and suddenly start. So, where is the next stop? Just began to think about the significance of travel.

Leave where? Where to travel? What kind of meaning are you looking for? Our travel addiction is so happy that we can't be cured. We bury our body and soul in the scenery and print them into the mountains and rivers of foreign countries, just like directing our own film in ordinary life, relaxed, cheerful and leisurely. Tears do not need to be covered up, smiles do not need to be covered up, joy does not need to be covered up, disgust does not need to be covered up, because no one knows. The indifferent attitude in travel can only be realized by being in it. Only travel can remind us that our enthusiasm has not subsided and our world has not shrunk. Only after travel can we rely on scattered memories and patiently accept the overlapping life day after day until we rush to the city we yearn for again and again. Slowly exhaust the passion of leaving in each stay, and slowly become indifferent and tired in each continuous investment, so they began to stop, and the heart of loving travel disappeared immediately. Later, we no longer travel and are willing to enjoy the inner loneliness in the plain life, because the travel finally needs to return, because there is always a place in our heart. No matter where we go, we must go back in the end. Travel is meaningless if it is because of loneliness.

Perhaps the significance of travel is that we learn to be modest in front of nature, release our feelings in the flow of people, and learn to grow between walking.
