In the heart of an ancient land,

The patriarch with the aged hands

Told the story of our ancestors of long ago,

Their sacrifices and their love

From harvests failed to battles won,

The clan was second to none.

Shining with the power of love.

She told of her mother and father,

Their stories, told and retold in love.

Each story is told and retold

Family, love, sacrifice

Is love built on sacrifice?

Is sacrifice built on love?

Or... is family the fruit of sacrifice and love?

Can love be generated without sacrifice?

LOVE is ...
