The Mask of Illusions

The Mask of Illusions,

Hides the face of truth,

A disguise for what we fear,

And what we wish to prove.

A game of smoke and mirrors,

Where reality is bent,

And all that's left is confusion,

A feeling of discontent.

But as we take off the mask,

We find the strength within,

To face our fears head on,

And embrace the truth again.

For the mask is not a curse,

But a tool to understand,

That the illusions we create,

Are just a part of who we are.
