Remembering the First Day

Men are from Venus
Women are from Mars
But you, my dear angel,
Have fallen from the stars.
Your beauty and vibrance
Has filled me with awe
As there is no such a thing as perfection
Yet you have it all.
When colours seem dull,
When light seems dark
You, my dear angel,
Can bring back the spark.
The wonder within
The tide that can turn
The great raging fire
That with you can now burn
That one windy day
That can calm a dark night
That one darkest hour
That gets brought to the light
All comes together
To remind me of this;
That everlasting moment
Our very first kiss.
