The Love You Bring

"it pulls me in"

The love you bring

does not arrive gently,

it pulls me in,

like a tide that knows my name,

like something ancient

recognizing its home.

It settles in my chest

and refuses to leave,

beating with my heart

as if it has always belonged there,

as if I was made

to carry you within me.

The love you bring

is not just felt,

it consumes.

It lingers on my skin,

in the silence between breaths,

in the way my thoughts

circle back to you

without effort.

It is deep,

so deep I lose the surface,

so deep I forget

what life felt like

before you touched it.

Your love is devotion,

not spoken, but lived,

in the way you look at me

like I am not temporary,

in the way your presence

anchors me

when everything else shifts.

The love you bring

is sweeter than honey,

but heavier,

it carries weight,

meaning,

truth.

It is not fragile.

It does not tremble.

Even in the storm,

when everything around us

tries to break,

your love does not loosen,

it holds tighter,

stronger,

unyielding.

And I feel it,

rooted deep inside me,

woven through my being,

growing in places

I cannot reach

without you.

You have become

something permanent,

not just in my life,

but in my soul.

The love you bring

has changed the way I exist,

the way I breathe,

the way I understand

what it means

to be fully seen.

Because this,

this is not passing,

not temporary,

not something that fades

when the moment ends.

This is the kind of love

that stays,

that marks,

that becomes

everything.

The love you bring…

is the love

I will never unfeel.
