I Think I'm Really A Foodie At Heart!
When I see the sight of food I tend to crave the flavor.
All the herbs and spices, their colors and nutritional value.
Those sweet smells of baked goods fresh out the oven.
The texture that is hidden inside as I slowly savor this piece of perfection.
The delicious flavors that make me want to drool all over.
That feeling of happiness in anticipation as I lift off the cover.
When I take a look around I can see others and hear their excitement.
It's another new restaurant I am able to experience.
For a brief moment in my life I can feel comforted, as I escape all my problems and frustrations.

Who Am I?
I keep asking myself. I spent half of my life as a single mother. Pushing myself to be the strong independent individual that I have always been. My kids have grown and my life seems turned upside down.
I now search to find myself!
