The Locket

I always wanted to know

what was in a locket

I would see women wearing them

around their neck

it looked so cool

so when the opportunity came

I bought one

and then I had to choose

which photo I should use

and when I chose the photo

I had to cut it to the size of my locket

I tried to make the cut as even as I

could

and fitting it in there was hard to do

a few minutes passed

and a few minutes passed

and I finally got the picture in

I then closed the locket and

wore it around my neck

I wanted to open it

It would not open

I tried to pry the lock free

But when I did

it broke in two
