This is the prompt for this piece
The sandal could have been picked up by a creature to build a nest or someone may have picked it up and thrown it away, or it may have been the sandal that they lost.
I have to do a sequence of four poems thinking about the importance of butterflies and bees to continued existence. They are tiny but without them, we would not be here.
The song is "Beeswing" a tragically beautiful song by Richard Thompson the only connection is the Bee but it is an excuse to share this beauty.
