The Light of Learning

They stand before us, like beacons in the night,

Guiding us through the darkness of our youth.

They show us the way, to knowledge and to truth,

And help us to grow, into the people we should be.

They are our teachers, our mentors, our friends,

They are the ones who help us to make sense of the world.

They are the ones who show us that we can achieve anything,

If we only set our minds to it.

So thank you, teachers, for all that you do.

You are the light of learning, in a world that often seems dark.
