i looked upon
a leaf today
and marvelled
at the sight and knowledge
of all the days it had ever seen
and each and every night
it's barely seen the sun come up
more than thirty days
it's sorely missed every single dusk
that our eyes happened to gaze?
it passes on not knowing
it cannot see not even with our eyes
it has completed its part
gave all even it's heart
when everything ends
it begins to start.
As leaves
into the fire we fall
in and on fire one and all
this the season they call fall
this is when we
when we
all burn
raked into a pile
ready to burn
the flames
will take their turn
it will all burn
till
the flames
go
out
