THE LAST MOMENT

Birds were chirping so loudly today,

Everything seemed different from ordinary,

I woke up; you weren't lying by my side anymore,

I panicked where did you go?

I tried to find you everywhere,

Yes it was that dark night when I lost you,

And not for a moment but forever,

The last time when you touched my face with your warm hands,

The last moment when we looked into each other's eyes,

And in a while you closed your eyes,

Not for a moment but forever,

But maybe I forget after meeting you in my dreams,

Maybe the birds knew you weren't by my side anymore.
