The Lamp of Life

A mother's light through

By Rohitha LankaPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

The pain and happiness of life's journey are experienced together

The mother is the comfort and the wind of the mother

She sits on the seat, her lap brings healing

The lamp is our mother, who spreads the leaves of the forest,

Who searches for goodness, who feeds us with goodness,

Who does not take their rice at the time of eating

She does not look at the sight of us two with fear, doubt, or anxiety, the dew that sees the sun in the morning

She is a source of strength from her sight, the moon rises

She sacrifices her whole power for us

She is a creation, all goodness is combined
