The King's Message

A Letter to a Humble Knight

My dearest Knight,

I will write this to you,

To share a tale both grand and true.

Of epic battles, fierce and bold,

And heroes brave, with hearts of gold.

The land was dark, and full of woe...

With evil lurking, to and fro.

So all who lived, may know, in fear and dread,

Of what might come, and what lay ahead.

But soon, a hero rose to fight,

With sword in hand, and eyes so bright.

He faced the darkness, head on,

with pure might and oh he was so strong.

He vowed to make things right.

He gathered friends, both strong and wise,

With laughter, love, and battle cries,

And set out on a quest so great!

To vanquish evil, and seal its fate.

They journeyed far, through fire and ice,

And faced great foes, though some seemed nice,

And though the road was long and tough...

They never once gave up!

For they knew that hope, and love, and light,

Would guide them through the darkest night-

And that no matter what might come,

They'd stand together, surely as one.

And so they fought, with all their might,

And never once lost sight,

Of what they fought for, and what was right.

And in the end, they won the fight!

The land was free, and full of cheer,

With love and joy, and nothing to fear,

And all who lived, in peace and grace...

Could look upon the hero's face.

His figure etched in stone,

At the foot of an old crone.

So here's to courage, and to love,

And all the things we're dreaming of...

May we all be heroes, bold and true!

And make the world a better place- for me and you.

Sincerely, Your Grace
